商品の利点について質問する
利点は「advantage」ですので、「Aの利点は何ですか?」と質問する場合は
「What are the advantages of A?」と言えます。
また、2つを比較して「AがBよりも優れている点は何ですか？」と質問する場合は
「What are the advantages of A over B?」となります。
- We are going to use a new sensor for this production line.
- この生産ラインには新しいセンサを使おうと思っています。
- What are the advantages of the new sensor over the current one?
- 今のものと比較して、その新しいセンサの利点は何ですか？
- Well, the response speed is twice as fast as the one we're currently using.
- そうですね、応答速度が今使っているセンサの2倍です。
また、不利点は英語で「disadvantage」ですので「Ｂと比べてＡの不利点は何ですか？」と質問する場合は「What are the disadvantages of A over B?」と言えます。
同じように「merit / demerit（メリット/デメリット）」も使えます。
